Coastal Wildbelt is excited to announce a new opportunity to fund innovation along our English coastline!

We've just launched our Test and Trial Small Grants Pot for members of the Protected Landscapes family, which aims to fund at least 4 to 5 projects along the coast which deal with some of the challenging issues that are tricky to get funding for. But be quick, as applications close at 12 noon on Monday 14 October!

There is no set minimum grant, but we imagine our average grant amount will be in the region of £5,000.

Whether it's an idea to deal with increasing access to the coastal margin in your area, dealing with a 'sticky' issue between people and nature, looking to go beyond your boundaries of Protected Landscapes or help innovate and set you up for successful future bids - we want to hear from you.

More details can be found in our guidance notes below, along with the recent recording of our Coastal Wildbelt Project Officer, Kate who gave an update to PLP members about the project and this opportunity. If you want to access this recording, reach out to Kate on kate@nationaltrails.uk who will be happy to share or answer any questions.

Remember - It's important that the lead applicant is someone who is connected to a National Park, National Landscape, National Trail or a member of the National Trails UK Coast Path Forum, focused on delivering a project along the England coastline.
